Elementary: Matisse Cutouts Box

Henri Matisse created artwork using multiple pieces of colored paper. Learn how to construct both organic and geometric shapes into a work of art using composition skills.

Materials include:

  • Various Colored Paper
  • 1 Pencil
  • 1 Gluestick
  • 1 Scissor
  • Set of instructions for the project

You will learn basic art history about the artist Henri Matisse, organic & geometric shapes, basic composition skills.
